I lived 22 years of my life in darkness but I didn't know it. If you asked anyone who knew me I was a "nice guy" to the outside world it probably looked like I was set. I thought so too.

Then I invited to a college group at a local church. At first I just went to check it out, but then I started meeting some really good people and having some fun also. Something else happend as well, the messages by the pastor seemed to make sense even though he taught out of a book I didn't know anything about. The music kind of confused me at first but it was alright.

Things started coming to a head a few months later. Was I actually becomming a Christian? I always thought those guys just had "beliefs" and were probably good people detached from facts.

But now that I had the facts I had to decide. As much as Christianity makes sense there are some things that just can't be proved, "Was Jesus really God and man on earth?" "Is the Bible really the Word of God?".

There was a God, that much I knew was true. So I prayed. And then I knew it was true. With everything in our lives we have to make a decision based on the evidence and thats what I did, even in regards to faith.

Now I am the only Christian in my entire extended faimly. I'm doing ministry and I wouldn't have guessed that with a million tries 10 years ago.

If you aren't a believer do yourself a favor and atleast get the facts. You owe yourself that much before you make a decision. I'll be happy to give you the facts if you want to connect with me.
